a great loss to the family & nation

Last 28th October 2010, after goin back and forth to the hospital for 3 mths...I lost my beloved father.A father whom I called Papa.He was my idol and inspiration in my life.He gave me the strength,the courage for me in every single thing I do. "Life must go on", as he used to told me when we mourned the death of my grandpa early this April and this month, I mourn the death of my Papa.

My papa was a strong man, he fought the cancer with all his might but Allah loved him more. I pray to Allah that my Papa will rest in peace and may all the knowledge and good deeds that he has left to the family and nation, will be remembered, cherished and use for the good of mankind.

To all the bloggers out there, my Papa wanted all of us, the Malaysian citizens, to learn about history and know history..that was his last words.

When it comes to wedding, it is the card that will touch the heart of your guests. Thus, it is very important for you to select a wedding card that represent your wedding theme. Some will face problem in doing so because selecting a wedding card doesn’t only involve you but also the whole family(for some in certain cases)And when there are so many designs to choose from, that will make things much even complicated.

For starters, let’s take a look at the type of papers that you might consider for your wedding card.

1.Textured paper

This is great for adding depth to your wedding invitations and can be used as insert paper too. Textured paper also comes in various paper stocks.

2. Shiny and metallic paper

For a bit of added sparkle, you can get pearlescent, metallic and sparkly (glitter) papers. They add a bit of dazzle to any wedding invitation. You can also get these types of papers as card stock too. They also come in a variety of colours so you'll easily be able to match your wedding colours. Italy Pearl has a range of colour but the price is much expensive than a metallic paper

3. Vellum paper

If you want your wedding card to stand out, use vellum paper. It is almost like a tracing paper but it is much thicker. It comes in a variety of different patterns and colours as well as textured sections of foam on the surface of the paper.
Plain vellum in gold, silver or platinum colour often has a lovely pearlescent effect. Some vellum papers are quite thick and so they’re good for backing papers and others are have beautiful illustrations on them.

We will be having a tight schedule very soon ( it's the printing season and Ramadhan & Aidilfitri is around the corner). In order to get your yaasin/asma delivered on time, please place your order NOW. As for wedding cards, please place your order at least 2-3 months before the event.

 When it comes to wedding invitations, most brides ( I said most) gets so fussy about it. Of course, for some brides-to-be, they would want a wedding card which is  unique and different from others. They can either choose from pre-designed collections or the other is option is to custom made their wedding cards.


Why custom made?
1. Theme weddings- When you have a theme, it is difficult to get a pre-designed wedding card that suits the wedding.

2. Freedom to choose whatever designs and wordings

3. A wedding card that be remembered and kept as a keepsake for both the newly wed and guests

What about the cost? Yes, it is much costlier that the ready made ones. This depends on the materials and finishing of the product.
